043 - Living with a Disability in New Zealand
In New Zealand, the number of people living with disabilities is significant, with 1.1 million individuals (24% of the population) experiencing some form of long-lasting impairment.
In this week's podcast, we chat with Talitha. Talitha was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis in her late teens and today very kindly joins us to discuss what life's been like living with a disability in New Zealand and the support available to those who need it.

➡ 🏡 LWe LOVE Housesitting in New Zealand. Want to Try it too?
If you have been following us for a while, then you will know that we travelled the World for one year with our kids in 2018 and for six months in 2022 by ourselves. While we were travelling, we did a lot of housesitting. We are constantly asked how we did this and if we can share the website that we used. So here it is:
The initial 'looking part' is free. You can Google all of the beautiful houses around New Zealand that are waiting for YOU to look after them. Take a sneak peek here! https://itsadrama.com/trusted-nz (As I say, looking is completely free, so gander to your heart's content).
Then, if you are serious about using Housesitting as a tool to travel the world for free (as we do), you can use my exclusive discount code to save yourself 20% by Clicking here.. https://itsadrama.com/trusted-accounts
Still not sure about paying for a Housesitting membership? Remember that the cost of a yearly membership (approx $80 using the discount code above) will be paid back (and more) on the first housesitting night. It really is that simple!
🟩 looking for the BEST Travel Insurance? There is only one company that we use (and only ever use when we travel), and that is World Nomads. Over the years, we've made three claims (sorry, guys), and each time the service has been superb. Click the link below! ⬇️ https://www.tkqlhce.com/click-100245874-15371527
